EXE Heroes: The RPG
Alright this is a little Fan-Game Project I'm going to be doing. Not much is in it right now but it going to be huge.Game Info
This is an RPG adaptation of EXE Heroes. You can control over 40 heroes from Annihilation EXE, Darklight Mercenaries, Aftermath, and even Viral Infection and then some into battle and stop the war against the WWW Alpha and The Pork Army and other crime organizations all over the world. The Game play is a hybrid of Mega Man Battle Network and EarthBound. Like the previous BN games, you still fight viruses, collect battle chips, and explore the Internet, etc. That’s where the similarities end. In the real world, the Operators now fight too. Wild animals, dangerous crooks, and freaky mutants roam the real world and will attack anyone. The operators fight wielding weapons like baseball bats, cross bows, machetes, shurikens and even guns and rifles. Also on the cyber front, The Squad Combat System will let you command 3 navis at once on a 5 X 5 battlefield instead of the traditional 3 X 3 field in the previous games. People who played the game love it for its improved combat and deep, enhanced game play along with great storytelling. However is it also gained criticism for blurring the canon verses because character names and places from the NT Warrior anime are placed in the game. There has been controversy because the use of drugs and alcohol.
Setting and Plot
It takes place in the Battle
Network universe, four months after the Gamma Incident in the AXE Chronicles.
After getting separated from his friends during a camping trip, Lan Hikari
stumbles onto a secret base and discovers a man frozen in a block of ice. The Man, calling himself Commander Kaznorei,
he warns him about a war waged by all of the world’s criminal organizations.
Signs are already showing up about the war and if it goes unopposed, all of
humanity will be caught in the crossfire.
